In the early twentieth century, Camden was surrounded by transport and trade. Accounts of the old Stables describe a site with working horses and a hospital where animals could rest and be cared for. Later, when the industrial role faded, independent traders helped give the buildings a new future.
That spirit is the reason to visit: a historic setting that still welcomes the unexpected.
